Founded in 1978 by Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, Regent University is one of the nation’s leading centers for Christian academic learning and action offering a multitude of accredited on-campus and online programs for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Pros:
- Student to Faculty ratio of 16:1 indicating excellent supervision in courses both online and on campus.
- 70+ Degrees and programs offers a wide array of choices for students looking for a rigorous Christian-founded education.
- Small graduating class sizes means a close knit alumni network where every student is important; Degrees awarded (2009): 1,061.
Cons:
- Small (though fast growing) alumni base means name recognition of Regent University not as high as larger universities.
